Seat Belts – Why use them?
In most states seat belts are required by law to be in use when a vehicle is in use. Much earlier in my life I was involved in two car crashes that I did not have my belt buckled for. I can attest from personal experience that it makes a lot more sense to be buckled and not just to satisfy the law in your state.
He knows the high cost of distracted driving
Steve Dziadik cannot shake the memory of seeing his pregnant wife, covered in blood, being dragged out of a mangled car after a wreck nearly 40 years ago.
Dziadik acknowledges he was not paying attention while driving that New Year’s Day when he crashed the car into a stalled Cadillac on the side of an unlit Connecticut road. The couple lost their unborn baby that night.
